Quilting Arts Magazine Summer 2025 *NEW* Article
Embossed Napkin Tiles
Have you seen the latest American Magazine Quilting Arts/ Summer 2025?
Well, my latest article came out. I am on page 88. All started when i went to the grocery store and bought a big bag od napkins very, very cheap. Once I went home and opened the package I realized that the quality of the paper was terrible; it was very crunchy and rough to the touch…ay…no wonder the price was so good. live and learn!
The good news is that it is a wonderful material to be used in your art. Playing around I discovered on how to obtain a textural surface. If you are like me and LOVE TEXTURE this article is for you!
The vase has been made from the technique explained in the article. The flowers has been made from my original way to incorporate paper in my art, which I caleed: washable paper-cloth. The leaves has been made from cheesecloth scrim and the lettering is a piece of cheesecloth skin.
And this is the cover. I hope you you try this and have fun experimenting.
