For this paper and fabric quiltlet I decided to put paper for borders and it immediately looks less "quilty". Don't you think?

The fabric base has been painted with three different paint types. First, I used the little acrylic tubes you can find in any craft store, then the fabric was marked with the help of a stencil and fireworks ink, this is a watery shimmery ink that comes in little spray bottles (supposed to be used on paper but we quilters try everything on fabric) and paint sticks.

Appliqué on top the metal vase and the flowers. The light brown accent you see on the left side is a recycled brown paper bag!

And for the stitching I used again spagetti thread with a topstitch needle and sewed it slowly.
