Paper quilt embellished with free motion , hand quilting and beads.

The background is raw canvas to which I applied gesso in some areas and then painted with acrylics. Once dried, I painted the sun face and afterwards applied the papercloth. Then I embellished it with machine and hand sewing. Detail: Papercloth I used:

Memory Quilt

This is a memory quilt I made for my daughter before she left for college. The methods I used are deconstructed silk-screen, puff paint, computer transfer, crystals, paper and hand embroidery. As you can see, all her friends signed the white margins.

"Circle study"I resisted, overdyed, deconstructed, silkscreened with fiber reactive dyes/vat dyes, and discharged the "circle" shape onto rayon fabric.
